For over two decades, Ohio City residents and entrepreneurs have welcomed Clevelanders and beyond into their homes for Weekend in Ohio City, the tradition showcasing the neighborhood’s eclectic and historical housing stock and celebrated local establishments. Saturday’s Evening in Ohio City fundraiser continues with a progressive home and food tour through neighborhood homes each with a unique story to tell. Sunday’s Home Tour serves as a fond memory for those who have attended for 25 years. Founded by neighborhood residents and carried on by a volunteer-based committee, Weekend in Ohio City is a reference to the dedication and hospitality of the Ohio City community.
During Evening in Ohio City guests are welcomed into six different residences to sample a variety of tastes and styles of architecture, décor, food and drink. Local chefs prepare unique or signature items from their restaurants to serve at each stop along the progressive tour. Lolly the Trolley transports guests from each home to provide a leisurely and social experience. Guests, whether they live down the street or have traveled to attend the event, will understand why so many have come to call Ohio City “home.”
