Ohio City Holiday Festival
CLEVELAND – The Ohio City Holiday Festival, presented by Great Lakes Brewing Company and sponsored by Third Federal will take place in Market Square Park and on Market Avenue, across from the West Side Market at West 25th and Lorain, on December 7st from 11am-4pm. Perfect for all ages, the event will feature gift vendors from Cleveland Bazaar and Made in the 216, photos with Santa Claus, Christmas tree sales from Londrico’s Tree Farm, horse drawn carriage rides, holiday ornament crafts for children, a photobooth, Christmas carolers, a donations drive, and mulled Christmas Ale from Great Lakes Brewing Company.
A very special and authentic Santa Claus will be to entertain and sit for photos. Santa photos will be available for purchase online. Christmas carolers will perform throughout the event in Market Square Park and at the West Side Market. Guests are invited to shop local at over a dozen artisan vendors from Cleveland Bazaar and Made in the 216. Guests will find something for everyone on their list with one-of-a-kind gifts and craft wares. Horse drawn carriage rides will take guests on a scenic and festive ride through the heart of the neighborhood for $10. Hop into a photo booth for an instant souvenir of the day! The Ohio City Holiday Festival is free and open to the public.
The presenting sponsor, Great Lakes Brewing Company will join the fun on their brewpub’s patio, offering mulled Christmas Ale, a delicious take on their popular seasonal ale. Help Great Lakes Brewing Co. “Fill the Fatty” with donations for the City Mission. Bring anything from clothing items, household goods and non-perishable foods and fill up GLBC’s Fatty Wagon!
This event is a part of Yuletide on the Near West Side, a collaboration between Gordon Square, Tremont and Ohio City promoting holiday events on Cleveland’s Near West Side. Events are scheduled each weekend in December. Check out Yuletide on the Near West Side on Facebook.
